Regal Cinemas to temporarily close all U.S. theaters

The parent company of Regal Cinemas, the second-largest movie theater chain in the U.S., is suspending operations at all of its locations in the U.S. starting Thursday, Oct. 8.

The chain counts 27 theaters across Texas, including five in the Houston area:
