Recycle Car Parts

Does anyone know where I can take car parts either for recycling or to have someone buy it? I have some old headlights that are fully functional. I hate to just throw them in the trash, and would rather recycle them or have a junk yard buy them. Does anyone have suggestions for the lights or other car parts? No one has bought them off ebay 🙂
