Recommendations on a cost effective tree service company?

I previously had great recommendations for pest control on this sub. I am now in search of tree maintenance services recommendations.

I live in the Aldine area, I am looking to trim some big branches in my backyard. Trees are fairly high.

Anybody know by chance if I need to obtain a specific permit from Aldine to have these services done? I ask because our power lines run through my backyard.
