recommendations needed, assisted living, Houston or Conroe

TL/DR: Dad had stroke, rehab ends next week, needs assisted living

Houstonians, do you have a good experience with a local assisted living facility?

We are trying to find a single room in either inner loop Houston or The Woodlands/Conroe area. Really liked Lewis Park Estates in Conroe, but no single rooms available.

My dad, 83, has had a small stroke. Rehab has been awesome, but there are minor problems with aphasia/speech, short term memory, and general cognition. I'd say he is 85% toward independence, but will need help for at least the next year during recovery, and maybe forever. Primary needs are general safety and medication supervision. THANKS!
