Recommendations for short notice bday cake?

I was tasked with bringing a cake to a birthday dinner for Saturday. It’s short notice, but any recommendations for a nice/fancy/even upscale birthday cake? Doesn’t need to be big, just needs to look like something that wasn’t purchased at the grocery store same day.
