Recommend things to do in Houston of July 4th

I’m going to be in Houston with my mom July 3rd-6th. I’m hoping to get some recommendations on where we should stay/what we should do. I already have the farmers market on my list.

More background- my mom is very Vietnamese and would like to do things a Vietnamese woman would like to do. Shop and eat Vietnamese food lol we just bought tickets so very flexible when it comes to things to do and where to stay.
