Recommend: Asian markets/areas in/near Houston

Hey everyone, we’re a mixed Japanese/US family looking at moving to the Houston area for a change of scenery and to be closer to a Japanese consulate and have heard good things about Texas Children’s Hospital for our youngest who has spina bifida.

Have zero idea about the areas to live in though and would like to be in a higher Asian populated area or at least areas with multiple Asian markets nearby. Hmart and ranch market are ok but smaller local shops would be good. Or all of the above if there’s any area where they just nestle together. I’ve tried searching via Google but nothing really comes up, and I’ve tried searching the forum but the only posts are from years ago.
