Recommend a Bank Please.

A year or so ago my Credit Union changed its name. Since then I've grown to become unhappy with their service changes. Does anyone here have any recommendations for a place to bank? What do you like about your recommendation?

I seem to recall I needed an "in" to get into this credit union but that was over 20 years ago. Are they still that way?
