Recently merged Houston energy co. names new CFO

Houston-based NexTier Oilfield Solutions Inc. (NYSE: NEX) — created through the merger of C&J Energy Services and Keane Group Inc. — has a new CFO.

Previous CFO Jan Kees van Gaalen left the company to pursue other opportunities, according to a Dec. 16 press release. NexTier promoted Kenneth Pucheu to the role, effective immediately.
