Recall Whitmire effort kicks off

The effort to collect 63,000 signatures for a Whitmire recall has kicked off, and seems to have its work cut out with potentially inadequate staffing. This subreddit is typically fairly anti-Whitmire (and, full disclosure, so am I), so I am curious what you all thought about this initiative and its probability for success.
