(really need some help) looking for a mental health professional who’s non-judgmental
Hello, everyone! I just moved to Texas last year and got my health insurance back about 6 months ago. I suffer from extremely bad anxiety and seizures and take klonopin and was told by my last/old Dr (was in austin just moved here) that laws changed and they're super anal about prescribing it now. I was wondering if anyone takes it and if they can recommend their doctor? No, I'm not an addict, I never have been, and I don't abuse my medication. I'm terrified of running out, having a seizure, and dying, and my anxiety causing my heart to possibly kill me (I have something called prolong qt syndrome and when my anxiety spikes, so does my heart and it gets bad) it's the one medication that allows me to live life, have a job, sleep, leave the house.. Basically live. I don't take any other "classed" drug so I know doctor's pre-judge me and my intentions by my looks but I don't even smoke weed, nor do I drink (hard to get doctors to believe that too..) I just need some help and sorry I'm ranting. Just living in fear as I run out and don't know where to turn and I'm terrified of living in a hospital basically if it got to that point.
Thank you if you can be of any help.
