Rave Scene in Houston

Hi guys! I have never been to a rave and always wanted to go to one. Is the Houston rave scene good? I've been looking up some and I did see one for Feb 12 called Blood on the Turntables. I've seen a few others. Can anyone recommend me some good ones to check out this year. What should I expect?
