Rant about Spark Energy
Soo. TLDR: they suck. F**k em.
Was a customer for 1 year. Renewed March
First off, the renewal rate was higher than the rate offered new customers…wouldn’t you offer your existing customers that rate to retain them, instead of them jumping ship?
Second, stayed with them and now, its time to move apartments. Same complex, same address, new apartment number.
Now, they say they don’t do service transfers. You have to terminate old account and start a new account. This wasn’t their policy previously, they just started it.
They won’t admit it but I know it is because rates are super high and they don’t want to honor my $.07 rate.
Spoke to a supervisor and was also told to kick rocks, that I should visit powerToChoose and shop around.
For some reason they are hanging their customers out to dry. Wanting them to jump ship? Closing the business down but can’t do it until all customers are gone.. I wonder what the deal is
