Random time for this, but what happened to Josh James?

I still remember his rookie year when he came in vs Mookie in the playoffs and completely dominated him that AB.

But I know injuries have hurt him, but any other reasons for his issues? What caused his command to fall off?

I feel like he's the kind of guy who if he let go, will turn into a lethal bench option with the Indians/Rays (not that I would blame us).
