Randalls to close another Houston-area grocery store

Longtime local grocer Randalls will close its Bellaire store next month.

The Houston Chronicle reports that the store’s liquidation process began Jan. 13, and the closure is slated for Feb. 20. The Bellaire store, at 5130 Bellaire, is the only one affected.

Randalls has closed a number of stores over the past several years, including five in the Houston area at this time last year. After those closures, Randalls was left with 10 stores in Houston and one each in Bellaire, Galveston, Katy, League…
