Railroad Commission sets date for hearing on oil production cuts
The Railroad Commission of Texas has scheduled a public meeting for April 14 to consider arguments over whether it should curb oil production in the state.
Confirming a date that Commissioner Ryan Sitton hinted at this week, the Commission posted an agenda on its website for a 9:30 a.m. meeting that day. Commissioners will hear public feedback as to whether they should implement production limits at a time when U.S. oil futures have traded as low as $20 per barrel.
