Race For the AL West
It's a three-way baby! So what better time to look at the final month of the season to see how the Astros, Mariners, and Rangers stack up to each other.

|---|---|---|---|
| Overall Record | 76-58 | 75-57 | 75-57 |

| Away Record | 41-27 | 37-28 | 33-33 |
| Away Games Left | 13 | 16 | 15 |
| Head-to-Head Record | 2-8 vs SEA; 6-4 vs TEX | 8-2 vs HOU; 1-5 vs TEX | 4-6 vs HOU; 5-1 vs SEA |
| Head-to-Head Games Left | 3 vs SEA; 3 vs TEX | 7 vs TEX; 3 vs HOU | 7 vs SEA; 3 vs HOU |
So how does it look currently? By far the Astros have the easiest remaining schedule, which is great since we are actually beating up on weaker opponents this year (42-20 vs teams at or below .500). Sadly the Mariners hold the tiebreaker over the Astros, but 1 more win vs the Rags and we'll have the tiebreaker over them.
With 7 games between the Mariners and Rags left, who would we want to lose more? IMO, it would be best if the Rags won the remaining games 4-3 or 5-2; we could try to have both lose but I'm afraid that's not possible as of now.
This is going to be the most stressful final month of the season for us in years. So buckle in buckaroos and try not to blow a gasket when things don't go our way. Just try to enjoy the ride. This is what baseball is all about.
F**k Seattle and f**k Arlington.
