r/Houston is getting dull

I think I'm ready for the exit door. All of the nonsensical rules like not being able to ask where to find the best BBQ, tacos, whatever. Newcomers not being able to ask about neighborhoods to put down roots and even though some of those types of posts slip through anyway, what are we, I, here for if not allowed to share how awesome Houston is?

I realize that whatever responses I get will be along the lines of "Don't let the door hit you on the way out" or "If you feel that way, start your own sub" which are definitely appropriate.

I'll end with this sub being dull because it's become primarily a forum to gripe and it's just generally uninspiring for me. The moderators behave like this is their own personal fiefdom and from my experiences as well as a former member's, posting just about anything tends to violate some rule that may be spelled out without context, implied or doesn't even exist.

Just thoughts.

Let the downvoting begin.
