Quiet restaurant suggestions for the hearing-impaired?

I am hearing-impaired and I want to be able to go out to dinner with my boyfriend on Valentine's Day but can't do anywhere that gets packed and loud, bc then I wont be able to hear bc I lost half of my hearing when I was little. I know I could just make him dinner at my apartment, but this is a special occasion and I want to go out with him, but I also want to be able to hear him, so I need a place that is quiet and more intimate. Does anyone have any suggestions?
