Questions about registering a business as an LLC. Better to do it using an online service or through the county clerk?

I’m looking to register my business with the state. I see that there’s some websites offering a service in which they make the process easier and was wondering if anyone has done this? What would be the best way to go about this? Thanks in advance for any help
