Question for Houston runners (Vintage Run on Jan 1)

Hello Houston runners! I may be in town for a few days during the holidays, and I thought, you know what’s great during the holidays? RUNNING!

I came across the Vintage Run 5K/10k/virtual happening on Jan 1, but had trouble finding much info about it other than how to sign up on their website. Has anyone run this? What is it like? Also (and this may be controversial), what are the covid protocols for outdoor races if there are any?
