Question about termites and apartment

I’m in a bit of a dilemma regarding a termite problem and a rental. Currently, I’m paying $650 to live in an upstairs 1920s efficiency in the middle of the Heights. I can’t really afford anything else, so it’s either that or move back in with my mom. Not long after I moved in May, drywood termites started showing up in the apartment; there were probably about a hundred on the worst days, and they would all be dead when I found them. I notified my landlord, and she had the exterminator spray the areas where I suspected they were coming from (mainly the baseboards on the outward facing walls). Since then, everything has been okay, but I’m concerned because there is still frass in the corners at the bottom of the stairwell that has been increasing lately, and there are what look like termite holes in my wood flooring. My landlord refuses to tent/fumigate the place like the exterminator suggested, so further treatment isn’t really an option.

My question is this—how far along does the infestation sound, and am I about to fall through the floor one day given what I’ve described? How long can a structure be lived in when nothing is done to treat for termites aside from spraying? I’m 30 and really would rather not move back in with my mom, but I’m also in a financial bind and can’t really afford anything else. Since the exterminator sprayed, I haven’t seen any termites. I don’t even have a couch yet because I’m so on the fence about moving because of all this/didn’t want to buy something that would just get destroyed by termites, so it doesn’t really even feel like home at this point. What would you guys do?
