Question about Recycling

Hi. I’m new to Houston and still learning about some of the municipal odds and ends.

I have more recycling then will fit in the green bin. If it’s way overflowing (big pieces of cardboard) will they still pick it up? Will the stickers I got from Kroger for extra garbage bags work with recycling? What do I do?
