Question about Bayou Music Center and General Admission balcony seats

Bought tickets to see an upcoming show with my little brother at BMC. I could have SWORN I bought specific seats on the balcony, but I look now and see that they are General Admission Balcony Seats. Does anyone have experience with this set-up? How fast seats fill up, what the audience is like up there, etc.? It's my brothers first concert and I want him to have a good time, with no surprises. I've seen clips of people getting relatively rowdy with this band, but they're no Gojira or anything.
