Question about an area cavalcade and 45

So my husband and dog and I apparently are going to have to find a new house in the next 30 days. I have found one on fisk street which is off cavalcade and ih 45. My question is: what is this area like? I don’t know it very well. I live in second wars now which I absolute love and don’t want to leave but I’m having major issues with the landlord here and I don’t know if I’ll be able to mediate with him because he’s become a complete jerk. I walk my dog alone and often because he’s a high energy mix. And we like to take late night and midnight walks when there’s no one else out and It’s nice and cool (or cold). Will it be safe to do that in this area? I also will be using the bus to commute to and from work. Is this area safe to wait for buses and walk in? Thanks in advance everyone.
