Question about adult protective services. Surprise visits?

This is new territory, so bear with me.

Some of you know my situation, and I've made a few posts about it, so I will skip to the meat of it.

I received a call someone claiming to be from that office. I verified their credentials to assure it wasn't a scam, since they had all the pertinent information.

Supposedly they're wanting to conduct an inspection his living conditions and such.

They said they'll visit during a time frame, but have no specifics.

As my wife and I are often busy with one project or another during the day.

Of course, this will curtail our day drinking, but a little sobriety isn't much of a sacrifice.

How often are these visits and what should I be worried about?
