Question Ab Sharpstown

I have my eye on some houses/apartments in different areas so I do want to know if you guys have any opinions on how safe they are.

Firstly, how safe is it around Roos Rd/Neff St east of the SW freeway, but also west of the freeway? Is it safer on the east or west? Also what do you think about the apartments near the Madrasah Islamiah? And everything along Redding Rd. west of the golf course? Thanks!
