Queso prices have gotten out of control.
I paid $9 tonight for maybe 3 oz of queso and some chips. I’m not going to call out the restaurant, but this seems to be happening at all of the well known Tex-mex joints. I can understand the rising fajita prices given beef costs, but is there something I’m missing? Can anyone in the business confirm that, in fact, the margins on queso are astronomical?
