Punch line comedy club experience.

This week my girlfriend got free tickets to see Rosebud Baker at punchline comedy club and right away I was excited! I have heard of the comedian before and thought it would be a fun night out at a new spot, however it turned into an awkward mess. Firstly the servers were great, timely and friendly, that’s about the only good thing I have to say about the night. About 14 people showed up to see the comedian and she immediately let us know she was not happy about that. I figured ok that’s funny whatever but she really drove the point home when she berating the two people in the audience that admitted to having certain political leaning. The “comedian” then told my Mexican girlfriend and I that we looked like we were in Mexico which I found odd. The cherry on top was a $97 bill for 4 drinks. Overall it was a weird experience and if you really want to see comedy I’d always recommend The Secret Group on Polk st. where drinks are cheap and people are friendly!
