Public schools in Montrose

Hi, we’re researching housing in the Montrose locality of Houston and one of the realtors mentioned to us that most people living in Montrose send their kids to private schools.

Just hoping for some feedback from the community if this may be the case. Doesn’t Montrose have good public schools?
