Public school experience after TEA takeover

So, I’ve heard the horror stories about the TEA takeover, and how many teachers are leaving the district. But what’s not clear to me is, for families and students, is the experience the same at every campus? Or are some campuses rolling along doing their thing while the problem campuses get even worse bc of the TEA takeover? Or is this affecting AP students in a different way than it affects the grade level high school classes?

I have a middle schooler and high schooler and my job has an option to relocate to Houston and we’re trying to figure out what this could entail. And no, I don’t know what part of town we’d be in. At this point I just want to get a gage for how families are actually experiencing the district takeover .
