PSA: freeze your gym memberships

Right now gyms are supposed to be closed but that doesn’t mean they will stop charging you. I go to anytime fitness, I sent them an email asking if they would still be charging me or if they had already froze my account. They responded by saying they would be still be charging me unless I requested to freeze my account.

So call or email your gyms to make sure you won’t be charged until you can actually go to the gym.
