Protest Against Whitmire’s Montrose Freeway Project

Please join Friends of the Boulevard, Urban Paths, and Walk and Roll Houston at 4:30 PM next Monday, 3/31/25 at the intersection of W. Clay and Montrose Blvd to protest the shameful actions of Mayor Whitmire and the TIRZ 27 board.

Whitmire has spent his entire administration waging a systematic war against any sort of bike or pedestrian infrastructure. He is wasting Houstonian tax dollars to undo years of infrastructural improvements that we already paid for at a time where he has already admitted that the city is broke.
