Probating will and selling mom’s estate without a realtor
My sister and I have inherited mom’s house. It needs a little work and she had a mortgage. We will use some of her funds to fix up the home, then sell. I am NOT looking for a realtor. I have one. I’m looking for a way to sell the house without having the 6% chunk taken out of the sale, plus any other fees that are possible to avoid.
We can stage the house but need to get as much equity back as possible to pay off other stuff. Anyone used a for-sale-by-owner type app or a real estate attorney or something that would lower that fee? Looking for creative ideas. Would also consider a lease to sell arrangement if I can find a way to market it that way. TIA
