Pro nail trimming for traumatized dogs?

We have a pug who hates getting her nails trimmed with her entire soul. Getting all of her nails is basically impossible for fewer than 3 people and she fights like a dog 3 times her size. We started having the vet do it so that she could be medicated into a calmer state, but it hasn't been working as well as time goes on. The most recent time she somehow managed to snag one of her toes while struggling and pulled an entire nail out. Needless to say we are looking for other options, and while we may need to just start getting her fully sedated for trims I was curious if there are any specialist groomers anyone would recommend trying that may have some kind of nail whisperer abilities.
