Dusty is happy to be back. He didn’t want to negotiate mid season. Was comfortable waiting until now to discuss terms. Feel comfortable with another one year deal. Wants to win again.

Crane didn’t sound too optimistic about Crane. Said he is in negotiations about a new deal. Said he’s in Vegas for the GM meeting. Crane said he can never be satisfied as a business owner and wants to keep pushing everyone to succeed.

Crane said he is looking to improve the team. He wants JV to come back. They will keep talking to him before tomorrows 4 PM deadline. (When he can opt out) he didn’t mention any other players specifically but did note that players did declare free agency.

Crane said finances are strong because of the success the team has had. Plans to take advantage of that.

Everyone in the organization is getting a ring.

Dusty said he hasn’t had a chance to really reflect but will do so when he gets home to California.

Dusty says he loves Joe Espada and said he has a tough job to set up spring training.
