Power to Choose

Recently moved back to Houston and I am thoroughly confused by picking a power company. Never had to shop around before… I am on PowertoChoose and I'm seeing 13 cents but they are all rated 1 to 3 stars. I was thinking of doing 12 month fixed, but hesitant. Varsity has 5 stars at 14 cents. What renewable energy amount do you choose? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
