Power outages create chaos in Galveston County
This just in:
Parts of southeast Texas plunged into darkness as portions of the state’s power grid fail around Houston, the most populous city in the state of Texas.
Here’s what Texas Governor, Greg Abbott had to say, “Today we have a failure in our power equipment. We have tracked the problem down to its Tuesday. We want people to remain calm, this is something we should not be worried about because this is a once in 500-year Tuesday.”
Governor Abbott declined to take any further questions. The Governor’s office put out a statement that ERCOT will be getting sacked Bill Flores, chairman of the board that oversees the reliability of Texas’s power grid, accused Governor Abbott of cheating last time they played golf.
Ken Paxton’ said in a press briefing, “The office of the Attorney General is working diligently with Pam Bondi at the DOJ, to ensure that there are sufficient resources put on this case. Dirtbags like Flores can’t be allowed to roam our streets freely. Hell, his name even sounds Hispanic.” Paxton continued talking but his microphone turned off and the technician was unable to repair it without electricity in the building. The technician was removed in handcuffs by masked ICE agents.
