Police Chase in West Houston, maybe?

I live on the corner of i10 and beltway near Wilcrest at around 8:45pm I was walking my dog in my complex when I heard some police sirens and heard helicopters above me. Then suddenly about 8 cops speed through my complex and a cop was shouting at us to go inside. I still have no idea what was going on. As I type this I still hear the helicopter. Any ideas?
