Poison Ivy removal recommendations

I have a bayou behind my house, and poison ivy has invaded my fence and backyard. I am terribly reactive so I want it removed asap. Any recommendations on who to do this? I know it will comeback. I will try my hand a keeping it at bay, but it has got to go!
