Places to visit?

My mother (51F) and I(23F) are traveling to Houston next weekend, and we will be spending a week there. I’m looking for some recommendations on places and attractions that we should visit while we’re there! This trip is mainly for her, and she knows that she wants to visit the Cockrell Butterfly Center and MFA (but that’s about it for now lol). She’s not really interested in the Space Center or any of the other historical or science museums.
