Places to stay between Houston and Rosenberg

Hi. I’m flying to Houston for a business trip for 3 weeks. The office is in Rosenberg. I’m not renting a car and will use uber/lyft. I kinda dont want to stay in Rosenberg since google says is 40 mins away from DT houston. Which area/neighborhood would you guys recommend to be safe and accessible to both Rosenberg and downtown houston? With many food options too. Thank you!
