Places to meet new friends as an adult?

Hey yall, I'm not sure what exactly im looking for, but im a 29 year old guy looking to find somewhere to meet new people and hopefully make new friends.

My gf and I have different off days, so I'm usually by myself on my free time. My closest friends have passed away and well I haven't really made an effort to meet anyone new. Its a bit difficult as an adult. Lately I've realized if I don't make an effort to put myself out there I'll probably be friendless for the rest of my life, lol. So I want to get out there more, I just don't know where to go or what to do. A little about myself im a 29 year old Latino dude living in NE Houston. I'm a bit of an introvert, I love going to local markets, horror, collecting stuff. 420 friendly as well. I'm always down to try new foods and just have new experiences in general.

I don't have any expectations, I just want to at least try. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
