Places to Live if I work in the energy corridor

I’m gonna be moving in from the east coast to Houston next summer. Anybody have opinions on where to live and how to find a good place. Have heard the heights from ppl I asked but just wanna get more thoughts

Im also in my early twenties if that has any weight.
