Pink lizard ended up in my house. How to catch/release?

wondering how i can catch him so i can release him? i tried putting fruit in a bowl with a hole in the lid so he can get in but not out, but no lizard. not sure where he scurried to but he was on the 2nd floor so i doubt he left the house. Any other food for pink lizards? Preferably not insects cuz i dont want to go catch them :O

edit: seems to be a Mediterranean gecko. light pinkish when i saw him with the light on
