picking up trombone again, looking for places to practice

haven't played trombone since high school. Had a great experience jamming the other night (scrawny embouchure and all), and it's time to get back into it. Curious if any players of loud instruments have any ideas of where I could play away from home? I'd like to minimize annoyance to roommates and neighbors.
