Picking up a passenger at Bush Airport Sunday afternoon, any tips?

I've actually been ok with parking at the airport, so I was instructed to find parking at the terminal C parking, and I was going to tell our family friend to meet us at terminal C. They would be arriving internationally at terminal E.

How is parking on Sunday afternoons? I rather park than do a drive thru lane waiting forever in line to pick them up.

Plan B was actually parking at EcoPark, ride the bus to terminal E and could all of us get on the bus back to EcoPark (or everyone has to show a ticket?)
