PHX native w/ a question for H-town

Is the Astrodome still standing? If so, why haven’t u knocked it down?

Just watched a documentary the other day about the 2005/06 🌹 Bowl. They showed Vince Young’s hs highlights… in the Astrodome? Astros and Oilers were long gone by the time VY was in hs. I loved watching Oilers and Astros home games on tv. Always wondered whose idea it was to put flowers behind the outfield wall?

Clearly I’m a nostalgic guy too but there comes a time when a reminder from the past becomes depressing, such as seeing a once uniquely beautiful building broken down.
