Photos: Historic office tower debuts as hotel in Texas Medical Center

After 66 years, the one-time Medical Towers Building in the Texas Medical Center has found a new calling.

Houston-based Pearl Hospitality has reimagined the historic building as a hotel, teaming with Westin Hotels & Resorts to create The Westin Houston Medical Center. The hotel, which is located at 1709 Dryden Road, officially opened this week, following a soft opening late last year.
