Photos: Former Houston Dynamo star Brian Ching’s East End Backyard opens

Former Houston Dynamo star Brian Ching’s East End Backyard, which was first announced last year, opens Oct. 9. 

Located at 1105 Sampson St., East End Backyard describes itself as a dog-friendly patio bar on a 20,000-square-foot lot, 16,000 of which is patio. It also includes a 3,500-square-foot dog park, which is available to book for private dog parties. The only indoor space is a converted 1930s bungalow, which occupies 1,300 square feet.
